I tend to listen to happy songs, so whatever happy songs are popular are usually the songs I'm listening to . I mean, why listen to boo-hoo-pitty-my-miserable-life songs? That's such a down-er. I'd much rather listen to songs that's gonna get me pumped up for life and excited to be living. Of course there were k-pop songs too that were cool. Those were because I could "practice" listening to Korean.
If I had to pick one, it would be the Dynamite song. LoL.
I actually used it for my summer school class and taught them a dance to the song! Ha!

I must say, other than my bed, most of my time was spent on my computer. One, because my "work" is on the computer...and two, because my "play" in on my computer. LoL. I do my dissertation on the same computer I enjoy editing my videos I post on YouTube.

I'll be honest. I cry from time to time. I think for me...I just need to do it to let it out. Most of the time I cry when I'm home alone and thought just start to fill my mind...and I just need to release. It usually doesn't last too long, and after I get it out, I'm pretty content.

I think the only "trip" I took this year was to San Fransicso to for my friend's wedding. Other than that, Japan was for school...and Oregon was for school. Oh...I went to the island of Lanai and the Big Island too.
But other than trips...I did visit the Emperor and Empress of Japan this year. That was a crazy experience. We talked for about 40 minutes in a room that help 10 people. They were really nice people that were genuienly interested in my research.

This year...it would be Rindy. I had only met her once, for a brief minute or two, over 10 years ago. Yet, she graciously accepted me into her home in Oregon so I'd have a place to stay while I finished my data collection for my dissertation. She prepared my room and desk and took me to go shopping whenever I needed something. She helped me get around the town so I wouldn't get lost...and we even went out for happy hours. Although it was a brief 2 month period, I've never felt so welcomed into someone elses home...and I had the best roommate ever. ^___^ v
