Ahhhh...Can you tell I'm getting lazier and lazier about my E2 blogs?

Morning: Typical morning smoothie. (Check previous posts)

Lunch: Watercress and Tofu (Check previous posts)

Snack: So I went to visit my friend, but I walked past a cookie store and it smelled sooooo good, but of course they aren't E2 approved. So I went home and I made some E2 approved goodies. These ONLY have the following ingredients: Whole Wheat Flour, Oatmeal, Baking Powder, Beet Sugar, Raisins, & Almond Milk. Weeeeeeeeee no dairy, no eggs, no oil!

Today was the second day of my service project. It was the first time Grace used ここ "koko" when pointing to a picture. Her mom and I were both so stoked! One, she said it, and two, it was in the right context! Not only that, she no longer tells me nooooooo when I give her the Japanese name for items/animals. She'll just listen instead. 

I'm so glad we're making progress. Although it's baby steps, at least it's baby steps towards the right direction. 

I enjoy teaching the girls and can't wait til they're able to speak Japanese!

For breakfast I had my typical smoothie but I added almond milk!
今日はいつものスムージーにアーモンドミルクを加えました。

coconut water, organic banana, organic acai, organic blueberries, strawberries, organic honey, organic cinnamon, organic kale, fiber powder, ground flax seed, and added vitamin b12. 

ココナッツ水、有機バナナ、有機アサイ、有機ブルーベリー、いちご、有機はちみつ、有機シナモン、有機ケール、食物繊維、フラックス種、ビタミンB12. 

For lunch I had watercress w/ tofu on quinoa. (I forgot to take the picture of it since I was in a hurry. LoL)

For dinner, I had a cheat day....although the salad had no dressing, the veggie platter from Le Bistro sure had lots of oil and cheese on it. LoL. It's ok....It's birthday celebration week! he he he. Daniel Kalekini even sang happy birthday to me.

Dinner: I was extremely lazy today...so I just ate left overs. It was pasta from the other night. No sauce but still bursting with flavor. I loved it. Almost better than when it was freshly cooked since the flavor all soaked in. 

Oh...and I felt bad for being so lazy...I decided to tidy the kitchen a bit.

Lunch: I gave CPK a hard time today. I feel kinda sorta bad. I was like...can I have a vegan, no oil dish. And they pretty much said they don't have...and the suggested that I'd get salad no dressing. So I did....and added avocado. I swear the walnuts and pears had oil...but they said no, so oh wells. LoL.

Dinner: I made Garlic, Onion, Kale, Asparagus, Grape Tomato Pasta...and veggie soup. The pasta below looks like there isn't much flavor and sauce, but it had lots. It's the veggie soup that I totally screwed up on. It tasted like water....I need to work on my soup making skills....a lot. LoL. For dessert I made these things....I don't even know what to call them...but again it was not a success. I'll have to figure out how to make vegan desserts with no oil.

For breakfast I also made some ...cupcakes? muffins? baked good? IDK how to say it...basically I just tossed organic wheat flour, baking powder, organic blueberries, organic banana, and beet sugar in a bowl...mix mix mix...and baked them. So....the lesson learned here is that I need to put less baking powder. But it's no dairy, no eggs, no oil so I can gobble it up! Yay!

Dinner: I'm beginning to like Hot Pot Heaven. It's one of the few places I can eat out and actually be #E2Approved. It's just vegetable broth with veggies. Perfect. 

夜:McCullyにある鍋屋さんが最近のお気に入り。だって、野菜ベースの鍋に野菜を入れて食べればOK!
