Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji

Learning Japanese. Do you need hiragana, katakana, AND kanji? Yes. Which one first? If I was your teacher, I'd make you learn hiragana and katakana together. Then kanji soon after. Why? Because Japanese use all three "alphabets". You can't just learn 1/3 of it. Imagine learning just letters A through H...only. That's ridiculous and silly.
